Please join me in prayer for my sil & bil- and a dear family friend- all 3 are trying to quit smoking- using cranberry juice & ice water (it works) also please pray for a family friend, Kim- who may have cervical cancer- pray that her tests come back clean & that she won't need to have a hysterectomy. That is so true!! DH used to smoke a little when I first knew him. But he quit right away when he discovered that I refused to be around him when he smelled like ciggaretts. Now he can't even stand the smell himself!

about the smell of smoke- It's awful. It made me sick to my stomach after I quit. And I still can't stand the smell of cig. smoke. So far they've went over a week with out a cig. (Yay!)

Your family will be in my prayers.
I wish your bil and sil good luck.
My hubby is a smoker, he quit for a short time after a hospitol stay when his appendix ruptured. He said he felt worse than when he was smoking.
he's a bit goofy......i told him he's supposed to feel better NOT smoking.
Oh well, I am hoping he realizes what he's doing to his health and quits for good real soon.

Kim has an upcoming appt to meet with her DR & go over surgical procedures for a partial hysterectomy- the 1st week of August & she will have surgery soon after- so she'll be laid up for a couple of weeks in August. Keeping her in my prayers.
