For the last 5 years our school district has put together a one day music festival with one large headliner and some local groups as a fundraiser for the schools. It's been held in the fall, usually the end of September or beginning of October. Three years ago I went only because Journey was the headliner. Then the next year it was Jefferson Starship (I did go to help in the carnival area, but didn't stay for the concert). Last year it was Sammy Hagar, and I refused to go (although the Bacon Brothers did perform as well-sadly I missed them because I really don't care for Sammy Hagar).

So fast forward to this year. The organizers of this huge event just revealed who the headliner is, and I am a bit suprised. The reason I'm suprised is because it's a group that is popular now, and a fairly younger group that would bring in younger crowds, not an older group like it has been. So of course this year I want to go!!! Very Happy

The headliner for this year is Third Eye Blind! Very Happy
