For those of you who are married, do you remember your first date with your hubby's?

Do you celebrate the anniversary of your first date?

I remember our first date but no we don't celebrate it. Hubby just wishes I still looked like I did back then. He liked the white pants and blue polka dotted top I wore when we met. Hmm, I wish I still looked like that too. LOL

Our first date was a supper at hubby's home. He made a chinese supper and it was delicious. He even did the dishes. About a week later we went to his cousin's wedding and his uncle got up on stage and announced that we had gotten engaged that night. We knew nothing about this but we ended up having to dance and everyone clapped for us. Needless to say, 10 months later we got married and that was almost 31 years ago now.

you are going to think we are crazy
but let's see

i met my husband when i was 15.. so for a first date i would say we went to a local resturant well needless to say we survived college and long distance relationship since after high school i moved away to college and he would visit 2x a month. it was stressful but worth it.

anyway we use to celebrate our first date - now we just acknowledge the day.

wow now that i have a little girl i think i would die if she met a guy at 15
i am starting to agree with my husband --NO DATING

LOL Cathy, one reason I am glad today that I never had girls. She never would have had a life with my hubby. I always said if we had a girl and she had a date, hubby would be sitting in the back seat. I just know he would.

i do not know what my husband is going to do when she starts talking about boys not to mention wanting to date. we live in city and the girls (at least to me) are dating alot younger and they look and dress older. I think he might be her perment shadow (haha) did i mention he is an only child so he has never had a sister -- so he is not use to the dating game with girls

I know what you mean. I see the young girls here where I live too and they seem to dress and act much older that they are. They are dating much younger today than we did.

My son and his wife just had a daughter on November 30th and he keeps saying she is daddy's little girl. So you know how it is with daddies and their little girls. Dad's always seem to be more protective with girls.
