You could do special contests... highlight some biz's and have some prizes from them for the contests.

I think I will do something special after the New Year when people will be happy to see some great deals on paid advertising.

:D

Cathy, I like the look to your website!! you just need to get some links in there and some advertising!! What price are you charging for advertising and are you doing banners or just text ads?

Sat Nov 24, 2007 3:02 am   hi

hi everyone

kira, i am in the process of adding links this weekend (if my little one gives me some time) i am offering free links to other moms with reelevant sites (i haven't decided just yet on type) i think i will do text links with brief description underneath explaing the link. as for advertising on the homepage and page choice i am thinking button or banner ads and the price is yet to be determined. i am still looking into price. i just put the site up 1.5 wks ago because of the santa letters i am selling. where i live in philadelphia you need to have a business license and this was a great umbrella to offer information and sell my letters.

ashley, thank you.

Pretty neat!! Well, let me know and I may purchase some advertising from you! I tried to keep a website going a year ago, but ran into financial problems and was not able to pay the domain... but I had banner and text ads available, and would do 3 month, 6 month, or 12month options from $5-$50 each. Since you have mostly links in your website, I'd have free links, and then premium links- maybe make the premium links on the front page or the top of each page...

Some webmasters offer advertising packages versus just offering a banner ad for say 10.00 a month. For example maybe you could offer a mom of the month spot for 25-30.00 but lets say it will include a bio about that person and include a banner ad and something else. When I get mine up and running I plan on offering packages as well.I know Sophia has different options too for those that wish to advertise on her site. www.workathomespace.com

I would stop at www.workathomespace.com and look at the main page and look at the different packages that she offers...also google wahm sites or wahm boards and most of them have a main page that links to the forum that has infomation, articles, newsletters opt ins and advertising packages as well.HTH :)
