| Hmm, we've changed things every year. Some years we do have turkey, but if we go to my aunts house, we have a vegetarian meal (and boy does my aunt make a wonderful meal!!), if we are with my SIL we would probably have a mexican meal of pozole or enchiladas. I honestly can't remember the last time we actually had turkey or ham! |

Sounds interesting Kira.
Tamara, I guess you can have whatever you like for Thanksgiving but Turkey is usually what everyone has I thought. So the answers are interesting here. |

Turkey for Thanksgiving and usually roast beef or ham for Christmas! Last year we had roast beef- It was good and change of pace!! Years ago, when I was a child- we would go over to my grandparents home on Christmas Eve & have either chili soup or Oyster soup for dinner, open gifts later and then spend Christmas day with my Dads' side of the family- and we had a traditional Christmas dinner of Ham ,etc.

| Hubby and I do the cooking and we just have to have Turkey and all the trimmings. DH does the Turkey (I hate touching it) and makes the best mashed potatoes I've ever tasted. Stuffing, green bean casserole, baked corn, mincemeat pie, pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce. We spend all day in the kitchen :D |
