| Since this point system seems to be a popular item in many forums, I have decided to activate it here as well! But Beware- not all the folders will give you points. Eventually points can be used for advertising or other rewards, but for the time being it's just a fun way to show that you are an active member of the forum! :D |

Ok, some of you may be wondering how many points you get and what the maximum is...
Amount of points earned per new topic - .25
Amount of bonus points earned per reply for topic author- .10
Amount of points earned per reply - .25
Amount of points earned per character - .02
Maximum amount of points earned per post- 3
You can get up to 30 points in every 24 hours period. After that you won't earn for your posts, but don't use that excuse for not posting!!! :wink: |

| It's very similar to another board, but they cap the total per 24 hours to only 5 points!!! |

| I have one on the forumarena board and there isnt much of a limit and I believe that we can set the amount to prevent spamming to earn points. |

| Oh, yea you can set a limit. Like this other forum that I modeled the point system after will delete a thread and take away points for one worded replys or using smilies as replies... but sometimes you just have to say one word, like ROFL, or OMG!! :lol: So I don't 100% agree with that policy, but I can eventually do that if people abuse the point system once rewards are available. We'll see when we get to that point! :wink: |

| Thats actually a good thing.Its get people to have more quality posts.Mine isnt so rigid and I have it set up for only certain folders like I think its set up here too. :) |

| Oh yea, like no points for advertising. I have it set up in the folders where people chat the most anyway, which makes more sense. |
