| Have you gals tried this yet ? If so, any opinions on it. I have been thinking about it. I'm not even sure how to start if I decided to do it. Do I need my own website to do it or are there websites you go on ? |

There are many sites that you can hold one On I have a chat room on My WAH Business you are free to use if you want to let me know. What you do is just chat about your products, sales and the opportunity if your company has one.
Alot of people type up their presentation in word or something then copy and paste it so they dont have to do all the typing also so they dont forget key points. They also have a list of FAQs so they can copy and paste those too.
I know several people who have done alot of sales from them, So they can be a good thing. |

I've only ever done one online party... but we should be getting our own chat area sometime soon to do our online candle parties Gina- I can't wait!!! :D
Some places where you can do an online party require you to have a "door" prize. Depending on how much traffic and how many people actually are online and make a purchase from you, I would say that it helps. I'm not sure what else to say about online parties... |

The way I do it is either a door prize or have vendors do their own prize if that makes sense I know alot of people perfer to do their own game with their site like site bingo or word scramble to have the party goers have to look/search around their site and then buy more. |

Kira and i are talking about these prizes I thought it would be a good idea to share with Fendi why these are important. :)
They are important because it helps A Bring people to the party with hopes to win, B it helps people stick around for other vendors slots to see what they are offering or what not, THe more people at the parties the more possible sales. just like at home parties. and C like I mentioned before like word games it helps people search the site more.
The Prizes are tax deductable just FYI.
:) like I said i just wante to share why alot of places require them. |

| Most places charge usually a few dollars. I know I am always willing to barter for vendor space. if that makes sense. Usually a siggy swap for a few weeks or something if that makes sense. |

Thanks for clarifying that Tamara!
As for cost, I've found that most places charge $2 to $10, but the higher range is a bit less common. It also depends on if you want a 30 minute slot or a 1 hour slot. Personally I would go for a 30 minute slot. It seems hard to me to keep people entertained for an hour online. Or you could opt for an hour, but split it up- 30 minutes early on in the evening and then another 30 minutes later, say two hours later. |

| I was wondering about them as well....I sat in briefly on one, I think it was tupperware, and can't remember where, but the consultant was able to show her catalog and talk about the different products. I thought it was great but was wondering how it could be done, and done with Mia Bella. |

| You know I have never been to an online party  I think they would be easier than the traditional in home parties tho. When anyone has one I would love to come and see how it is done. For MB I dont do parties.Lately I have been doing gift baskets and I have individual customers.Seems that I have had more success offline. |

| The one of Mia Bella was done pretty well she discribed a few of the smells and the sizes and how they smell (meaning even if you open the box leave the house for a few hours you can smell it as you walk in the door) how smooth they burn and things like that. Then brought in the COTM and how that works and the different options there. Then the half hour was done. |

I'm starting to get more individual customers as well. But I am trying to keep an open house monthly, especially since I realized I have been doing really well at selling what I have on hand versus having orders placed.
What type of basket are you using Ashley? I have been searching for the perfect basket and cant find anything. :( |
