A Florida adult-care facility is going ahead with plans to implant identity chips into patients with Alzheimer's disease who are in its care, despite protests that it is a form of branding.

that it's come to this instead of just keeping an eye on patients like they're supposed to do anyway. I certainly don't agree with chip implantation & feel it's a violation of the patients rights.

In a way I really like the idea of implanting chips... in the future we won't need to worry about carrying ID's on us at all times...
but I'm not sure about this situation right now... I'll have to read the article and thing about it a bit. |
