Hi Ashley!
At this time, I usually devote about 3-4 hours a day, not including weekends. I would say I try to work a few hours on Saturdays and Sundays depending upon what is going on!! I plan to stay "part time" thru the summer and when the kids are back in school in September I will definitly be working my business full time!!!
Happy Mothers Day!!

lol I saw that picture and I thought of my kitty. We bought my daughter a persian kitten for Christmas and my kids are absolutely crazy about him. They pick him up and tote him around like a doll 24/7. I look at his face and I know he's saying "help Me"!! but I think he loves every minute of it!!! They do dress him up, but they have'nt styled his "hair" yet!!! lol
 |

| Seems like there is never enough time to get all the advertising we need...I am going to set a monthly budget for paid advertising.I think as long as its within budget and I am getting results, its cool. :D My husband thinks that we should try to fit in a one or two parties a month...still thinking about that one  |

| I spend about 5 hours a day, while the kids are in school. I sometimes do work on the weekends, but it depends on lots of stuff. It looks like I may have a busy summer with parties and workshops though!!! I am doing this full time so I never have to get an outside job again!!! :D |

| Hmmm. Hard to say because I'm always popping in and out of the internet, reading/answering emails, placing ads, networking, calling people. Sooooo, I'd say maybe a total of 5 hrs a day? I do work on weekends too, but not that much, maybe an hour or two....gotta spend time with the hubby too! |

This is a tough one for me. I'm not making any money, just a few dollers here and there. I need some serious help in getting my act together to to at least bring in pt income.
I have my website, which has only generated 2 small sales so far. I've been a Designer with HGP for over a yr, don't do home parties and was only in it for the discount. I'm open for any and all suggestions to make this work. |

| Kim I think we have all been there!Just make a plan and sometimes you may have to get outside yout comfort zone to make your business work.I am living proof of that LOL...Its not easy but if you are consistent your business will reflect that :D Even though we are not in the same business I would be happy to help however I can. :D |

I was in the same boat...and just now am starting to make more than just a few dollars. I posted elsewhere that my husband has been really skeptical since the first home biz I joined I only made slightly more than $21 in two years because I truly did not put any effort into it at all. Now he sees these last few weeks and realizes that I am serious and that what I have really will bring in some income. He's still a bit skeptical, but it's going to take a while. It is extremely rare that someone will start a business and become rich overnight. Even if you only want to bring in a part time income, say up to $500 a month, you will still need to put forth some type of effort.

Are you willing to go out in the community and do a few parties? Even if you only do one a month or every couple of months, that may make a difference. With any company you need to ask yourself this: do I enjoy the products enough that I can truly inspire other people to purchase them as well without being a pushover? That may be what's holding you back, or not... I know for me, I would not be able to sell the products that I have if I didn't enjoy them as much as I do. You truly need to be a consumer of your own products. When people see that you are honest about the quality and the worth of these products, and see that you use them yourself, then they are more apt to listen to you and try the products for themselves!
I agree with Sophia and Ashley- maintaining a website is lots of work, but not so much that you can't have fun at the same time! |
