Hope you're all having a great day! I am looking for new ideas to get party bookings. My company has monthly contests for consultants and one of the things I need to do is share booking ideas. So I have come to you guys...the experts!

I don't know how you would feel about this, but it is something I will be doing in two weeks...
I am sending out invitations for a home party to all the parents that I see daily at my kids school. What I will be doing is donating 50% of my sales at that party to the school. I am planning on announcing that I would do future home parties (hosted), and donate 10% of the sales to the school, as long as the person hosting the parties is a current school parent. Hopefully that will bring me more bookings. I am doing that for both my candle biz and my stuffing biz. Even if only the bookings that I get from this are just so we can raise money for the school, I'll be happy! |

| Certainly!! The home party/open house is tentatively scheduled for Friday May 25 at 7pm... some of the people I've already invited are excited because they have already smelled the candles! Also I am hoping my Noah's Ark kit arrives in time for the party as well! :wink: |

Well, I'm very social now (wasn't until my kids started school lol), so parties for me hopefully will be successful!! I've already had about 5 people RSVP me for my party next week!! So I have my candles waiting, and my NA animals and brochures!! One lady even said she may order something from the website before- but I told her place the order with me and I can get them shipped faster!! :wink: Plus they won't have to worry about taxes and shipping!! Hey, I always look for an excuse to party!!! :lol:
I've read about doing a luncheon thing for offices...don't know what you are doing Tamara, but that may be something to think about! I'll have to get more details first, but sounds like something fun to do! |
