I am doing a fundraiser on behalf of the Boy Scouts to help raise money for the families of the four scouts that died in Iowa, as well as to send money to the Mid-America Council to go towards building a tornado shelter at the camp that got hit.
I am taking donations of $5 minimum for wishing stars to be stuffed into one of four bears that will be sent to each family of the scouts that died. I am also taking donations for paper stars that people can write messages on to send with the bears.
50% of the money raised will be sent directly to the Mid-America Council of Boy Scouts, while the other 50% will be split up between the four bears and send to the families along with the paper stars.
If you want to help contribute to this fundraiser, please contact me and I will be able to tell you if there is a CM in your area that is participating. Quite a few other CM's are doing a fundraiser as well, but they may be splitting the money up a bit differently. |
