I ask that you please keep my nieces' son - Chris in your thoughts and prayers and also the family. Chris is 12 yrs old and is a diebetic and he is currently in the ICU unit in California. His pancreas is shutting down, he's lost muscle mass and is being tube fed and is on medication for pain. Dr's give him a week at most. Please pray for Gods' healing, His comfort and love for this family. Thank you so much & God Bless you.

| I am so saddened to hear this Rosalee. I will definitely keep Chris in my prayers. Miracles do happen and prayers are the strongest thing. I will pray for his healing and for strength and comfort for the family by his side as well. |

You know Darlene, it just seems to me that Dr's can do so much now days- with any illness, or whatever. I just pray he'll pull through. I called my daughter earlier to let her know that he's in the hospital and she said that he's been through this 3 times before and has always come through. I'm praying for the same out come this time to. He has so much ahead of him, in life. Thank you for your prayers and words of comfort.

| Oh how awful for the family to go through this three times already and for Chris also. Its so sad but he must be strong willed along with the prayers being said for him to keep him here with his family. I pray that his time is not up yet and he has still got things to do here on earth. |

Oh Rosalee!!! I didn't see this post until just now. Does his family have insurance to help them deal with this? I certainly hope that he's on the transplant list!!!!
I'm currently working on accepting donations for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation via my candle biz and my stuffing biz- if there is anything I can do to help out please let me know!!! Sending a virtual hug to you and the family! |

I don't know Kira if they have Insurance or not, I would hope so- really. I also don't know if he's on the transplant list- for now, it doesn't sound like it- especially since the Dr's said they son't know how many more days he has to live. That's really sad- so we just hope & pray for the best, that he'll pull through this if it's Gods will.

| I'm praying for him and his family!! Hearing of someone in this situation makes me even more determined to donate to JDRF so that this sort of situation can be avoided in the future! |

Wonderful news!!! Chris is now out of the ICU Unit and is doing much better. His insulin is regulated and he's on a transplant list and he's up & walking around. (Thank you Jesus).

| Thank the Lord!! That is wonderful news!! I'm estatic that he was put on the transplant list as well. I guess 4 times in the ICU for the same reason finally got the DR's attention. Sad that it took so long for that to happen this way though. |
