| I have been building mostly through sales,but I have started team building as well.The candle drawing is a wonderful marketing tool that we have too.I do alot of ''lifestyling'' and it really isnt hard,at first I was afraid to approach people in that way,but I realized that I had to step out of my comfort zone. :D |

| Lifestyling is simply taking your business with you...for example when you are at the store or if you go to the post office,I ask if they burn scented candles and 9 time out of ten they say yes and I hand them a sample.One of two things happen..they absolutely love the scent and they buy right away,or I follow up with them in a few days :D Its a fun way to build your business and get that ''now'' money. |

Now I understand, I do leave samples and business cards with cashiers, waitresses, etc. My problem is that I don't get out often enough and it takes me a while to get up the courage to open my mouth, :lol:
Do you carry your candles with you to make the immediate sale? |

| Thats great that you do that,and its a good way to get your name out there.Yes I have a few candles at all times in my car :D I also have a box of votives too..just in case :wink: It does take time to get into the habit of doing it,but once you start making it a part of your normal routine it gets easier. |

Guess I'm doing the lifestyling thing too!!!!
I carry catalogs, biz cards, sometimes samples with me all the time. Went to the post office on tuesday handed out catalogs and on weds night a lady called me and bought 5 jars and a bella bar........
did an open house at my chiropractors office yesterday......they invited thier customers that had a healthy biz to set up a table......sold 9 jars, 1 pillar, 1 bag of melts, 2 soaps & 4 votives........lots of people took biz cards when they learned they could buy from my website! one couple was visiting from Missouri and took a biz card with her, she fell in love with the candles.
I do vendor shows and have 2 in May and 1 so far for June.
Another Chiropractor that was at yesterdays open house asked me to do their open house!!!!
I also had a lady contact me regarding a fundraiser in Kenntucky!!!!
what a week I've had......... |

Thats awesome!I have been doing lifestyling at work LOL...My employer doesnt mind as he is one of my best customers LOL :D |
