My hubby cleaned a 1 mile stretch of highway up last weekend, over 15+ bags of garbage, numerous hub caps, tires and other big things too (along with a few snakes).
Today we did it again but we also took along 7 volunteers with us. Over 30+ bags of garbage, numerous tires, hubcaps, gas caps, bottles, roofing debris, all kinds of things and yes this time around another 8 snakes or so and a few rats....the bee had to kill one of the snakes as it was just too big for catch and release.
The smaller non-venom snakes they collected in a bucket and released in the woods.
That was our good earth deed for the past 2 weekends. |

| oh I forgot to add that our future son in law got hammered twice in the hand today (bitten) by a garter snake :( |

I got some before and after pics I am going to put up online in a few days! Hopefully we will inspire other couples to get out there and do their part too! |
